'The Arts Yard' - Bangalow, NSW.
In 2012 I undertook a major step in realising a personal vision when a stunning piece of land in the Byron hinterland town of Bangalow became available and with the help and energy of friends and co-creatives “The Arts Yard” emerged. More design and building were required to make this property shine.
This is now a community of artist studios in which creatives work in different mediums and sometimes collectively together. It is an ongoing work in progress; challenging yet rewarding beyond measure.

We host day and night music events and gatherings to bring the artistic community of this region together.
In the words of one of our artists Paul Hunt:
"The Arts Yard is a delightful, creative and organic space for artists to breathe, be inspired and explore their talent. It is a charming, rural, rustic commercial premise. We are situated just 1 kilometre from the Bangalow Town Centre on the banks of the beautiful Byron Creek.
We are a collective of 9 multi skilled Northern Rivers Artists and Artisans who come here to create our work. We consist of painters, sculptors, tailors, jewellers, ceramists, writers, film makers, photographers and musicians.
Our collective vision, aligned with owner, artist and visionary Gabriel Rosati, is to create a commercial art venue, which can be opened to the public. It will consist of venues, art galleries, and a café. We will host a variety of Artistic Events, Exhibitions, Workshops, Markets, Concerts and Weddings.

We are presently working with Byron Shire Council and Town Planners to improve and upgrade our facilities to support the realisation of this vision. We all know and love the benefits that creativity and artistic expression has for the health and wealth of our community. We will keep you all informed of our events and progress."
